Joe Biden Says “I Regret Not Being President”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

Former Vice President Joe Biden was giving a speech at Colgate University in New York, when he said that he regrets not being President. Biden also said that he was planning to run for President and that he truly believed that he could have won the election.

“I had planned on running for president and although it would have been a very difficult primary, I think I could have won,” he said. “I don’t know, maybe not. But I thought I could have won.”

He continued: “I had a lot of data and I was fairly confident that if I were the Democratic Party’s nominee, I had a better than even chance of being president,” Biden continued.

Many Americans are dissatisfied with Donald Trump as President, with a recent gallup poll showing that 37% of those polled said that they disapprove of the President.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the electoral college, resulting in a loss in the Presidential election. This has led to many Americans being upset that Donald Trump is President because they feel that a majority of those who voted actually voted for Hillary Clinton.

Joe Biden also said that the main reason he did not run for President was because of his son Beau Biden, who was fighting cancer and died.

Many Americans believe that Joe Biden would have been a much better President than Donald Trump, and that more importantly he would have won the Presidential election. Hillary Clinton’s unfavorable rating was much, much lower than Joe Biden’s.
